Lazy J Bar Woodworking is based in Stapleton, Nebraska, and is a family-owned business.

Sonny Scott is the owner and artisan at Lazy J Bar Woodworking. Sonny blends his love of the outdoors and his artistic talent with years of experience in custom cabinetry and carpentry to create high quality, one-of-a-kind items. Many of our items reflect the Scott family’s faith in our Savior, Jesus Christ, the creator of all things (Colossians 1:16-17), and the one for whom we do all things. (Colossians 3:23-24)

Sonny’s wife, Sarah, handles the books and helps at vendor shows; and son Jace is an apprentice crafter, shop mate, material gatherer and all-around help.
